Acquisition of Private Label Credit Card Portfolio
An entity purchased a portfolio of receivables and related assets under a private-label credit card program established with a Canadian chartered bank.
Aird & Berlis represented the purchaser with a team that included Jill Fraser and Kyle Plunkett. As well as preparing receivable purchase agreements and assignments to deal with the transfer of the assets, A&B also negotiated a secured loan agreement between our client and the bank to finance the purchase.
