Leo F. Longo

Partner Admitted to the Ontario Bar: 1979

After nearly four decades in municipal and land use planning law, Leo remains committed to continuously learning and deepening his knowledge of the legal issues that matter to his clients. His experience enables him to isolate issues quickly, and he prides himself on working persistently until he arrives at a creative solution that advances his clients’ objectives.

As a senior member of the firm's Municipal and Land Use Planning Group, Leo's practice is devoted to all areas of land use planning, development law and municipal law, representing both private and public sector clients. 

Leo has appeared before councils, tribunals and various levels of court.

Representative matters include the planning approvals for the Railway Lands redevelopment in Toronto; numerous OMB hearings respecting Official Plans, Zoning By-laws, subdivisions and all other Planning Act matters; and municipal and land development-related court proceedings.
