Faruk has significant experience in advising clients in commercial real estate matters. Focusing on commercial leasing, he is known to his clients for being extremely responsive, dedicated and able to meet particularly tight deadlines. In addition to his technical expertise, he provides peace of mind to his clients by anticipating and resolving potential issues before they arise.
Faruk is a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Commercial Leasing Groups. He regularly advises major landlords and tenants in office, industrial and retail contexts. Faruk is experienced in drafting and negotiating commercial leases and related leasing documentation, including offers to lease, complex lease amending agreements with respect to combinations of extensions, expansions, relocations, partial surrenders, termination arrangements and various licence agreements. He provides creative solutions to clients and offers them practical advice and clarity.
