Through comprehensive wealth management and estate planning advice, Elise delivers a level of certainty and stability on which her clients can rely.

She works diligently to earn their trust and protect their hard-earned assets. Elise has an engaging personality, and enjoys working closely with clients throughout the planning process to ensure an optimal level of understanding and comfort about their futures.

She prides herself on thoughtfully advising her clients, holding their hands through some of life’s most important decisions.  As a member of the firm's Tax Group, Estates & Trusts Group and Estates & Succession Planning Team, her practice focuses on estate, income tax and succession planning, including cross-border planning, planning to reduce estate administration tax (formerly known as probate fees), the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, trusts, and assisting with estate administration. 

Elise offers creative solutions for individuals, families and private companies with substantial wealth, as well as those just starting out. She enjoys the challenges of working with the “next generation” as they build their wealth and secure their future.  She also advises individuals and owner-managed businesses with strategies to reduce personal and corporate income tax and estate administration tax, including the preparation of multiple wills and trusts, such as inter vivos trusts (family, spousal, alter ego trust and forms of disability trusts), testamentary trusts, insurance trusts and housing/cottage trusts.

Elise frequently assists clients who are dual citizens or have an immediate family member, such as a spouse or child, who is a U.S. person. She works with the clients' U.S. tax advisors to develop tax and estate plans dealing with cross-border income and estate tax issues. Elise also works with U.S. advisors to establish trusts to hold U.S. vacation properties.
