Ron's practice focuses on corporate and international tax, including tax aspects of reorganizations, takeovers, divestitures, acquisitions, inbound and outbound financing transactions, asset securitization, public offerings and executive compensation. He has acted for multinational corporations and owner-managers on transactional matters and advised on major domestic and cross-border acquisition and financing transactions. Ron also has experience in advising clients on GST/HST and provincial sales tax matters.
Ron is also involved in the firm's India initiative and acts on behalf of Indian companies establishing in Canada as well as Canadian companies considering India as an investment destination. Ron has experience in both inbound and outbound financing, investment and corporate transactions involving Canada and India.
Awarded the International Bar Association Taxation Section Scholarship, 2008.
Recognized by the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce as 2006 Member of the Year. The award was presented to the Young Professionals' Committee chaired by Ron.
