Sanj's practice encompasses all aspects of commercial litigation including insolvency, commercial lease and shareholders' disputes. He has appeared as counsel on motions, applications and trials on the Commercial List and in the Superior Court of Justice, and as counsel on appeals in the Divisional Court and before the Court of Appeal.
Sanj has represented clients before various administrative boards and tribunals in Ontario. He has developed a niche practice in defending individuals and private companies charged with regulatory offences pursuant to provincial statutes including the Fisheries Act, Pesticides Act and the Environmental Protection Act and acts for commercial carriers charged with offences under the Highway Traffic Act.
He engages in pro bono work through the Child Advocacy Program sponsored by The Advocates' Society, Pro Bono Law Ontario and Justice for Children and Youth.
